Marinara Magic

Marina Sauce

Marinara Magic

I commonly use everyday life to explore my perception of how things work. Today I’d like to share the insights I gained from making my favorite Marinara sauce.

When I make this sauce, I always notice that the instructions are simple and clear. When I followed the recipe, it’s easy to make and consistently good. I find myself comparing this experience with my day-to-day life. When I follow the energy, I find my day goes more smoothly. Following the energy is the recipe that makes life flow.

I believe that overthinking is one way to “burn” the sauce. This happens when I stop paying attention to where the energy is pointing and instead get stuck in my head trying to figure out what is going on with someone or a specific situation. Is there a better way? Am I making a mistake? Why is this happening?

Today I take wisdom from my Marinara sauce. Be mindful. Take things one step at a time. Allow things to simmer and cook to in their own time. Most of all, be flexible. Be willing to try the pasta, or the zucchini noodles, or the vegan “meatballs.” If someone brings a surprise to add to the meal, accept it with gratitude.

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do.
