Happier?

Life is meant to be happy.

These are the first words in the book Happier Than God by Neal Donald Walch. He is also the author of Conversations with God (I have read this book too).

I have pulled out some statements that I find interesting and supportive of this idea of happiness.

  • It has to do with how reality becomes reality.
  • The author shared a story about Oprah using these words to describe this great principle of life: the energy and the thoughts and the feelings that you put out into the world, both good and bad, are exactly what always comes back to you….so you have the life that you have created.
  • Positive thinking can help you envision succeeding and make you open to new opportunities, but it won’t magically pay your bills.
  • Attraction is a tool. It is the most effective when used for the purpose for which it was intended. And just what is the purpose? It is to create a happy, peaceful, joyous life for everyone whose life you touch and for you in that order.
  • We are talking about a systematic process of cause and effect that never shuts down.
  • Attraction is the energy magnet. It pulls to itself everything like itself. It obeys absolutely the principle: Like Attracts Like.
  • The universe listens to you very carefully and it listens most of all to what you are feeling.
  • Energy of Attraction, the word “I” is the ignition key of creation. What follows the word “I” turns the key and starts the engine of manifestation.
  • The way to move out of judgement is to move into gratitude.
  • Speak your truth but soothe your words with peace. You can share the most difficult truth gently. Do so.
  • Feeling is the language of the soul.

I found this book full of thought-provoking wisdom. I hope you too find these statements intriguing!

Big Hugs and Much Love,
